BRYAN STERN
PRINCIPAL
Mr. Stern is a founding partner of Echelon Property Group with leadership responsibilities for all aspects of the company. Bryan is responsible for corporate strategy, business development, client relations and delivering on our promise of Excellence to our stakeholders. Using his ability to lead with enthusiasm and his compassion for others, Bryan creates an inspiring culture where team members are appreciated and motivated to deliver results for our clients and team members. In his previous role as founder of Baron Properties, Bryan was responsible for equity and debt sponsorship where he acquired 30 multifamily communities valued at $450 million and created over $100 million of value for clients and investors. Bryan was also an acquisitions manager for ProLogis, a global industrial property REIT and a mortgage banker. Bryan received his MBA from the University of Denver in Real Estate and Construction Management and his B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado. Mr. Stern is a member of the Young Presidents Organization, Apartment Association of Metro Denver. Mr. Stern is a Colorado licensed real estate broker.
DRAKE POWELL
PRINCIPAL
Mr. Powell is a Principal and co-founder of Echelon Property Group, with oversight responsibilities including all corporate and community operations, asset management, and client relations.
An expert in property management, Drake has over 25 years of local experience in multifamily ownership and management. Since its formation in 2010, Echelon has grown to over 300 employees, 11,000 units under management, has invested over $75 million in capital improvements, and has leased up over 2,000 units. Mr. Powell is very proud of Echelon being named a Denver Top Workplace for three years in a row as well as being named winner of the 2018 Grand Tributes Award for Management Companies over 3,000 units.
Prior to forming Echelon, Mr. Powell was the Senior Vice President of Baron Properties for over 11 years, playing an integral role in managing the company's operations and capital deployment, including 30 acquisitions totaling more than $450 million, community renovation projects totaling more than $20 million, as well as creating and directing the management platform that expanded from its inception to managing over 4,500 units. Prior to his tenure at Baron Properties, Mr. Powell held District and Area Management positions at Lincoln Property Company and Equity Residential, where he started his career as a financial analyst.
Mr. Powell is a Colorado native and holds a BA degree from the Colorado College. Mr. Powell is a Past President of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver and was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2018.
JUDY BLAES
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
As Senior Vice President for Echelon Property Group, Judy oversees the global operations, leadership team, and overall performance of the management portfolio and is an integral part of establishing and executing the company's strategic vision and culture. Judy has a strong background in revenue management and is influential in driving the financial performance of the portfolio. Prior to joining Echelon in 2013, she was an essential part of Equity Residential's Denver office for more than 15 years. In her most recent position as Acting Area Vice President, she was responsible for the oversight and performance of up to 25 properties consisting of over 8,200 apartment units as well as over 200 on-sight employees and local corporate support team. Prior to this role, she was a Senior Regional Manager with hands-on management responsibilities of a large portfolio of properties ranging from Class A to Class C, and new lease-ups and renovation properties. Judy has a broad background of experience in the multifamily business and is known for her ability to maximize operating performance by engaging and motivating on-site team members as well as mentoring and training Regional Managers. Prior to joining Equity, she worked in the fee management business for Spectrum Real Estate Services, Inc., and was an integral part of that company's management team and worked on over 100 receiverships. Judy holds CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. She also held the President and Treasurer seats on the St Luke’s redevelopment district in downtown Denver for over 6 years.
AMIE ROBERTSHAW
VICE PRESIDENT
Ms. Robertshaw serves as Vice President with a primary focus on business development and client relations. With more than 20 years of experience in the multi-family industry, a strong background in daily operations, and a passion for company growth, Amie strives to ensure the partnership between ownership groups and Echelon management is built on strong foundations. Prior to joining Echelon, Amie was an Asset Manager for Capital Real Estate, LLC, where her duties included oversight of financial operations, budgeting, investor relations, capital projects, and due diligence.
Amie graduated from the University of Florida. She is also an active member of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver and is currently serving as President-Elect.
CHRISTINE GRABER
VP of Corporate Accounting & Treasury
Ms. Graber services as Vice President of Corporate Accounting and Treasury and is responsible for the preparation, reconciliation, and reporting of corporate financial statements. Her role also includes treasury management and banking relationships for all bank accounts at the corporate and property levels. Ms. Graber brings over 30 years of property management experience to her position, from on-site roles to Information Systems Manager, Project Accountant and Vice President of Accounting. Ms. Graber's varied experience has provided her the ability to understand each position within property management and has successfully transformed job processes and work procedures, training techniques, and overall communication. With previous roles at Omni Properties, AIMCO and Anterra Management, Ms. Graber has accounting experience with REITs, condominium conversions, HUD, Tax Credit, and multi-phase properties including individual and consolidated financials.

HOPE IVORY
VP OF MULTIFAMILY OPERATIONS
Mrs. Ivory serves as an Area Vice President for Echelon, overseeing a community portfolio in the Denver Metro area. Hope has over 20 years of experience in the multi-family industry. With positions ranging from Property Manager, Real Estate Associate, and Multi-Site Property Manager to Senior Regional Manager, Hope has a broad range of operational experience. In the past few years, Hope has overseen several major renovation projects on 600+ unit communities in her portfolio. Her attention to detail, strong operational and renovation background, and effective leadership make her a valuable member of the Echelon team. Hope's previous experience includes Greystar, Riverstone Residential, Omni Properties, and Sevo Miller.
Hope is currently a CPM candidate with IREM and is very involved with the Apartment Association of Metro Denver.
